Notice is hereby given that SEALED PROPOSALS WILL BE RECEIVED at the OFFICE of the BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF SYMMES TOWNSHIP, HAMILTON COUNTY, OHIO until the 26th day of March 2025, 2:00 p.m. for the following Township Road Resurfacing Project:
ROAD RESURFACING PROJECT – Furnishing all necessary labor, material, and equipment for the repaving of roadways in the following areas:
- Symmescreek subdivision – Symmescreek Dr., Symmestrace Ct., Symmesvalley Dr., Symmeshill Ct., Symmesview Ct., Symmesknolll Ct., Symmesridge Ln.
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter. Contract documents, bid sheets, plans and specifications for the work may be obtained at the Township Administration Building, 9323 Union Cemetery Road, Symmes Township, OH 45140-9312.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a one hundred percent (100%) bid guarantee bond or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit on a solvent bank in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, (the total of the Project) conditioned that the bidder shall, if their bid is accepted, execute a contract in conformity to the invitation and their bid.
Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked “ROAD RESURFACING PROJECT 2025” on the outside of the envelope. Bidders must use the printed forms provided herein. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Hamilton County and Symmes Township as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division.
The successful bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Corporate Surety Company Bond in a sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, conditioned according to law. Bid bonds or Certified checks of unsuccessful bidders will be returned upon our acceptance of the successful bidder’s proposal.
The BOARD OF TRUSTEES reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept or reject any part thereof. The Contract will be let to the lowest most responsive and responsible bidder.
