The Township is seeking to fill three open positions as follows:
Laborer (Full Time)
This is an entry-level position in the Township's Service Department. Workers in this classification are responsible for assisting in the maintenance of Township streets, parks, buildings, structures, cemeteries, and vehicles. This position must be available on a 24/7 basis for any emergency as well as weekend availability. Duties are performed under the supervision of the Crew Leaders and Director of Public Works. The successful candidate must be a high school graduate or have an equivalent diploma and possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator's License. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age. Salary range $20.50 to $22.73 DOQ. Administrative Assistant (Full Time)
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the direct communication between the general public, county agencies and staff. Workers in this position are responsible for answering incoming calls, providing clerical support for the Administrator and Director of Public Works Director, handling park reservations and scheduling field assignments. The successful candidate must be a high school graduate or equivalent and possess knowledge of township government as well as be well organized and detailed oriented. The required work hours are 8am - 4:30 pm. Monday through Friday. Hourly salary based on DOQ. Assistant to the Administrator (Full Time)
The Assistant to the Administrator serves as the primary assistant to the Administrator and provides advanced administrative support in all facets of the Administrator's work such as compiling reports, organizing meetings, planning activities and distribution of public information. Other responsibilities include serving as webmaster, administering Township's recycling programs, serving on zoning boards and preparing Township newsletters. The successful candidate must have a four-year college degree in an applicable field of study and have experience in public administration. The required work hours are 8am - 4:30 pm.
