Trustees to Review and Approve Text Amendments

The Board of Trustees will review a resolution to approve and accept a Text Amendment to Section 51 General Provisions, Sections 62, 66, 70,74, 78 and 82 Residential Districts, Section 143 Residential Parking, Section 171 Additional Use, Height and Area Regulations and Exceptions, Section 191 Zoning Certificates, Section 319 Signs in Residential Districts, Section 342 Accessory Uses and Structures, and Section 346 Fences and Walls of the Symmes Township Zoning Resolution at their meeting on Tuesday, December 8th at 7:00pm at the Safety Services Center, 8871 Weekly Lane.  To see the resolution, click here.

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Symmes Township Trustees on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the Township Safety Services building for the purpose of revising the language of Sections 54.1 General Provisions, Section 51.5 General Provisions, 62.14-3 AA Residence District, Section 66.14-3 A Residence District, 70.14-3 A-2 Residence District, 74.14-3 B Residence District, 78.14-3 B-2 Residence District, Section 82.14-3 C Residence District, Section 143.3 Residential Parking, Section 143.4 Parking of a Boat, Trailer, Camper, RV or Mobile Home, Section 171.7 Additional Use, Height and Area Regulations and Exceptions, Section 191 Zoning Certificates, Section 319 Signs for Residence Districts, Section 342.5 Play Devices in Rear Yard, Section 346 Fences and Walls of the Symmes Township Zoning Resolution.  The proposed text amendments were initiated at the Township Trustees meeting on June 2, 2020, reviewed by the Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission and the Township Zoning Commission. The text language is available for review here.  The Zoning Commission voted to approve the proposed text amendments with changes on September 16th.
