Symmes Township has taken a big step to help protect our environment--recycling! The Township participates in Rumpke's drop-off box recycling service. Under this program, residents may collect acceptable recyclables at home and then deliver them to a drop box site free of charge. Drop-off boxes are located at the Township's Administration office (9323 Union Cemetery Road), Hopewell Meadows Park (9131 Hopewell Road) and at the Camp Dennison Nature Trail (c/o Munson and Campbell Streets) for your convenience. The recyclable items do not have to be sorted making recycling very easy and convenient. Community members who do not subscribe to curbside recycling can stop by the Administration office anytime 24/7 and at Hopewell Meadow Park and the Camp Dennison Nature Trail during park hours (dusk to dawn) and place their recyclables in the bin.
