Camp Dennison Water System Work
The Board of Trustees approved a resolution to contract with JMA Consultants to draw up the engineering for a new looping water system in Camp Dennison. Township Administrator Gerald Beckman said he recommended JMA because of work they had previously done on water repairs throught the Township.
Chief Otto Huber, Loveland-Symmes Fire Department, said the looping water system would help improve the water flow needed to fight fires, or fire flow and would also allow for continuous flow. The project, including the cost of engineering, is estimated at $126,000.
The Township is currently working on a possible Block Grant to cover a portion of the cost of this project. Additionally, they hope Hamilton County and Indian Hill Water Works will provide some funds in an effort to complete this project.
