Phil’s top priority is facilitating and encouraging meetings and dialogue with entities that are currently present, or may locate, in Symmes Township, to enhance our thriving economic community and will vigorously defend and advance actions that are in the Township’s best interest. Phil supports and welcomes citizen participation in matters that impact their homes and neighborhoods, and will promote development of projects that enhance citizen safety and comfort. As a fiscal conservative, Phil will work to ensure that Symmes Township has the economic base and infrastructure to grow and thrive as an independent community.
Phil Beck has lived in the Remington area of Symmes Township since 2000. Phil and his wife, Suzanne, participate in several community volunteer activities. Phil and Suzanne have three children: Nathan, Emma and Sarah who attend the Indian Hill School District.
Phil is a registered Architect in Ohio with 21 years of project management experience on public development, design and construction projects; a Leadership Cincinnati alumnus; an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran; a current officer in the U.S. Navy Reserves (Seabees); a former church Vestry member; and a Cub Scout leader (and Eagle Scout). Phil received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Cincinnati, and his Masters of Construction Management degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
