Township To Hold Public Meeting on Master Plan
As you may be aware, Symmes Township is working on a Ten-Year Master Plan to guide the future of the Township. Many residents attended meetings when the Township solicited input from residents and business owners regarding their issues and concerns. As a continuation of that process, McBride Dale Clarion (MDC), the consultants hired to assist in the project, has assembled an initial draft of the Master Plan that includes guiding principles and key recommendations to implement those principles. MDC will be meeting with the Symmes Township Master Plan Steering Committee during the first week of May to review the plan and begin the process of prioritizing the recommended actions. Residents are invited to attend a larger public meeting on May 14 where MDC will present these intial Master Plan recommendations. Both the consultant and the Steering Committee will be in attendance to listen to the feedback. It is vital that we hear from residents on these recommendations as they will serve as a guide for growth and development in the Township over the next ten years.
The public meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 14 at 7:00 p.m at the Symmes Township Safety Service Center located at 8871 Weekly Road.
The initial draft of the Master Plan, including the key recommendations, can be found here. If you are unable to attend the May 14 meeting, please feel free to submit your written comments to: Symmes Township, Attention: Master Plan Comments, 9323 Union Cemetery Road, Loveland, OH 45140.
