Cleanup Day Offers Recycling Opportunities

Symmes Township and the Loveland Sustainability Council are sponsoring a "One Stop Drop" again on Saturday, August 19th from 9:00am to 3:00pm at Hopewell Meadows Park. This free event, held in conjunction with Cleanup Day, offers residents a convenient way to get rid of trash and other items that they may not need responsibly.

Below is a list of participants and acceptable items:

Ohio Valley Goodwill   
Furniture Glassware
Linens Purses
Toys/Games Clothing, Shoes, Coats
Books Luggage
Bicycles Flat Screen TVs
Flat Screen Computer Monitors  
Due to the high cost of disposal, Goodwill is no longer accepting tube style televisions and CRT computer monitors.


Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati Restore 
Furniture Appliances (large & small)
Cabinets Light Fixtures & Ceiling Fans
Doors Hardware & Tools
Lawn & Garden Housewares
Clean Mattresses & Box Springs Windows (thermal pane only)
Electronics (stereos, DVD & CD players)                 Digital Televisions
Electronic Items

Laptops & Computers Cell Phones
i-Pads   IT Hardware
Please note that the company will resell these items after destroying the information. Ten percent of the profits will be donated to the Loveland Sustainability Council and the NEST Community Learning Center.
