Vacation Checks

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Patrol can keep an eye on your house while you are on vacation, reducing the likelihood of crime and providing you with peace of mind.  All you have to do is call the Sheriff's office at 677-7000; they will request the following information from you.

• Your name, address and phone number.
  
  
• When you're leaving and when you're planning to return.
  
  
• How you or someone locally can be reached for a key to your house in case of an emergency. 
  
  
• Whether you're expecting any visitors, deliveries or have scheduled any work while you're gone.
  
  
• If there will be any lights left on or cars in the driveway.
  
  
• If you cancelled newspaper/mail delivery.
  
  
• Provide general alarm information (not the code).
