Noise Resolution
Few things are as irritating and disruptive as excessive noise. That is why the Board of Trustees established a resolution aimed at preventing noise pollution from the Township.
Excessive noise can come from a number of sources, including construction, car stereos and televisions. This wide ranging resolution covers all the bases. A primary target is the hours between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., but the resolution is observed and enforced 24 hours a day. Violators can be fined up to $100 for the first violation and up to $500 for each subsequent violation within two years of the first.
The vast majority of Township residents exercise common courtesy concerning noise. For those few who don't, a word of advice. . . Keep It Down! |
