Ad Hoc Master Plan Steering Committee

December 11, 2007

The Ad Hoc Master Plan Steering Committee held a meeting on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 6:30 p.m.  In attendance were:  John Goedde, Greg Kessler, John Dowlin, Jr., Carol Sims, Jerry Beckman, Wendy Moeller from McBride Dale Clarion and Russ Sparks from Hamilton County Rural Zoning.

The purpose of the meeting was to review the Township's Land Use Plan.  Russ Sparks gave a brief summary of the process.  He then identified several "hot spot" areas in the Township that needed to be reviewed and asked the Committee to recommend specific planning strategies.  Some areas were discussed and recommendations were made to change these classifications.  Township staff will make the revisions for presentation at a future public hearing.   

The next meeting will be held on January 23, 2008 at 6:30 p.m.  The Committee will discuss the finalization of the Master Plan at the time.
