Cleanup Days

Symmes Township will hold the following Cleanup Days in 2009:

• June 13, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Camp Dennison Nature Trail*
  
  
• July 18, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Hopewell Meadows Park
  
  
• September 19, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Township Administration Building

*Please note that the date for this Cleanup has been changed so as not to conflict with Symmesfest.

During those times, residents may deposit items such as brush, used motor oil,  metal, appliances, car batteries, trash and other debris for disposal. All metal items including appliances will be recycled.  Freon will be recovered from all air conditioners, dehumidifiers, refrigerators and freezers at a cost of $20 per appliance (cash only, no checks).  Participants will be asked to show proof of residency in the form of a driver's license and current utility bill.
