Cleanup Days

Symmes Township will hold the following Cleanup Days in 2011:

• June 11, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Camp Dennison Nature Trail
  
  
• July 16, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Hopewell Meadows Park
  
  
• September 17, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Township Administration Building

During those times, residents may deposit items such as used motor oil,  metal, appliances, car batteries, trash and other debris for disposal. All metal items including appliances will be recycled.  Freon will be recovered from all air conditioners, dehumidifiers, refrigerators and freezers at a cost of $20 per appliance (cash only, no checks).  Participants will be asked to show proof of residency in the form of a driver's license and current utility bill.

Please note that the Township will no longer accept yard waste during Cleanup Days. The Township has contracted with LA Supply of 10776 Loveland Madeira Road (Tel. 489-9796) to handle its yard waste program. The program runs from March through October. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
