Road Construction Update

Wall Street and Fallis Road

Wall Street and Fallis Road between West Loveland Avenue and Rich Road will be closed from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on June 1 and June 2, 2010 for construction of a waterline replacement project. Don May, the subcontractor, needs to bring new water mains across Wall Street at each end of the project (near the bridge at Ohio and near Betty Ray Drive) and plans to do one of these connections each day.

Upon closing, a detour will be established using West Loveland Avenue and Rich Road. Local traffic will be granted access to Wall Street and Fallis Road during the road closure. Please note that the above closure dates may be postponed due to inclement weather.

Seven Gables and Montgomery Road
On May 3, 2010, Seven Gables Road will be closed at the intersection of Montgomery Road due to the Montgomery Road Widening project. The road is expected to remain closed for about six months until the project is completed. Residents will be allowed access to Seven Gables Road from Mason Montgomery Road. For more information, please contact the Ohio Department of Transportation at 933-6517.

Montgomery Road (U.S. 22)
The widening of Montgomery Road (U.S. 22) from East Kemper Road to Fields Ertel Road has begun. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained. The project is expected to be completed by August 2011. For more information, please call the Ohio Department of Transportation at 933-6517.

Fields Ertel Road Corridor
Traffic counts and field surveys are underway, as is data collection from a variety of sources. For more information on this project, please log onto www.fieldsertel.com.

Fields Ertel Road and Columbia/Lebanon Road
To improve the level of service at this intersection, the Warren County Engineer's office and the Hamilton County Engineer's office are partnering to widen the travel lanes, update the traffic signal system and add turning lanes. Both the Warren County Engineer and the Hamilton County Engineer are funding the $1,800,000 for the intersection improvements. The project is currently in the design phase with EMH&T as the consultant; construction is not yet scheduled.

Union Cemetery and Lebanon Road
The project involves the preparation of detailed plans for upgrading the subject intersection. Appropriate turn lanes, a new signalization and drainage improvements are expected to be part of the design work. For more information, please log onto www.hamilton-co.org/engineer.
